Who we are

AvatarIL is an independent Minecraft and Discord community. You can contact us through a ticket in our Discord.

What this website collects

This website does not send personal information to a server of ours, and we have no server that collects it. It has no forms, cookies or analytics, and we do not know who visits it.

Logging in with Discord

You can log in to the website with your Discord account, and we recommend it. Logging in is required to buy in the store. The login happens with Discord itself and only asks for the identify permission. The website receives your user ID and display name. We do not receive a password, email or messages.

What the website receives is kept only in your own browser (local storage) so it can remember you, together with the date you accepted the terms. It is not sent to us. Discord's token is kept only in the open browser tab, not on disk, and is deleted when you close the tab or log out. It is used only to verify who sends a bug report. Logging out deletes everything.

You can also remove the permission in your Discord settings, under Authorized Apps.

Bug reports

When you send a bug report through the website, the text you wrote, your Discord ID and your display name are sent to a private team room in Discord. The sending goes through a Cloudflare service that checks with Discord who you are, and does not store the report. Please do not write sensitive personal information in a report.

Requests to other services

• Server status: on the home page your browser contacts the public service mcstatus.io to check whether the server is online. That service may see your IP address, under its own policy.
• Discord: if you click the invite link you go to Discord's website, where its own policy applies.
• Fonts: the font is loaded from this website, not from Google.

Hosting

Like any website, the hosting service may keep standard access logs (IP address, time and page) for security and operation, under its own policy. We do not use them to identify visitors.

Team list

The team page shows team members' Discord display names, with their consent. Anyone who wants their name removed or replaced by a nickname can open a ticket.

Discord and the bot

The community bot stores what it needs to run the community: user ID, warnings and mutes, tickets, points and levels, daily question results, and staff applications. It is used only to run the community, and is never sold or shared.

It does not send mass private messages. Private messages are sent only about actions that concern you, or to people who opted in to announcements.

Children and teens

The community is open to all ages under its rules. We do not collect information about anyone on this website, including minors.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information the bot keeps about you. Open a ticket in Discord and we will handle it.

If anything changes we will update this page and the date above.
